CheSa's not just the owner of the Gluten Tootin' Free Food Truck, she's a proud client. After adopting a gluten-free lifestyle, she found more difficulties getting accommodated that she anticipated, climaxing in visiting a food truck festival she could barely touch. Taking matters into her own hands, she started a truck of her own that caters to honest-to-God foodies while honestly staying free of all glutenous temptations.

My story begins a few months before learning that I was pregnant with my daughter Chloe. I was a gym junkie, grilled food foodie, salad eating enthusiast. I had adopted a diet and workout routine that was easy to maintain. It was simple and infused with a PB & J sandwich a couple times a week after my workouts. At the end of summer 2012 my weight started to increase rapidly with some health challenges. I had gained 70 pounds in 6 months! Later on in the spring my doctor suggested that I remove gluten from my diet to see if I really had an intolerance to gluten.

Well, after a year of not having any gluten in my diet I felt good about my health and my diet. I started to venture out more on the restaurant scene. As I explored new foodie adventures I found myself being very limited in my selection of delicacies. It was a struggle dining out and seeing my foodie favorites angelically float by my table.

In 2015 I experienced my first food truck festival and loved it! However, nothing really catered to little ol' me. A few months later - out of hunger - the idea was born. Some one needed to create a gluten free food truck. A couple more months went by and I decided that that someone would be me!

There you have it! CheSa's Gluten Tootin Free Food Truck. I hope you enjoy!
