Kitchen Manager

We are looking for a Kitchen Manager to supervise daily back-of-house restaurant operations.

Kitchen Manager responsibilities include supervising the food prep and cooking, maintaining a fully-stocked kitchen inventory, and complying with safety and cleanliness standards. To be successful in this role, you should be able to manage our kitchen staff and guide them to deliver quality food on time. Ultimately, you will ensure all plates are properly cooked and served and our customers have a pleasant dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food orders

  • Supervise food prep and cooking

  • Check food plating and temperature

  • Establish portion sizes

  • Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed

  • Train kitchen staff on prep work and food plating techniques

  • Store food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g. in refrigerators)

  • Keep weekly and monthly cost reports

  • Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area

Line Cook

We are looking for a professional Line Cook to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for the menu. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

  • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)

  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

  • Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions

  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food

  • Stock inventory appropriately

  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion

  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Prep Cook
